What if..
What if your life is meant to be the way you want it be?
What if all your deepest wishes are meant to come true?
What if you're meant to be happy most of the time?
Well this would mean that you're meant to have one hell of a life, doesn't it?
What if you're meant to be happy most of the time?
Well this would mean that you're meant to have one hell of a life, doesn't it?
How amazed would you feel if you were confronted and told that indeed, you ARE meant to have an amazing life?
Well, the truth is,
Your life IS meant to be the way you want it to be
You deepest wishes ARE meant to come true
And you, I and everyone else IS meant to be happy most of the time.
Being happy is most definitely one of the best creations in our life.. Being happy fills us with joy, excitement, hope, laughter, love, fun, encouragement and any other kind of positive feeling.
Is happiness worth as much as people say it is?
So many times have we encountered sayings such as:~ Be thankful for what you have
~ Be proud of who you are
~ Always help those in need, with a smile
~ Everything's possible
~ Be yourself
~ Cheer up, it'll all be better soon!
~ Believe in yourself and you'll know no limits!
~ Believe in yourself and you'll know no limits!
.. And the list goes on and on and on
Are these quotes really worth as much as we think they are, though? How many times have you looked at these quotes and said "What a bunch of cliche!"? Probably more than once.. Even just thinking about what a cliche it is, it's already enough to believe that it is in fact a cliche. But let's face it.. We've all said at least some of these quotes to help the ones who mean to us. The fact is, we actually mean them when trying to cheer some one up.. If not, what would be the point of saying them in the first place?
The answer... is a huge YES.
They are worth MORE than we think! If you decide to start living more positively, you'll be needing to learn the arts of living positively.
The difference between a young mind and a more mature mind, is being naive all that bad?
It is the exact same method as teaching a toddler how to evolve from crawling to walking.
The youngster has to first know that it's possible. That it's worth it and that this will serve it well in the future. A child, being encouraged by its family that walking is beneficial, it smiles innocently, gets up on its feet and attempts to walk.
NEVER does it say "I already know how to crawl, besides, I'm not very good at walking.. I'll just stick to this, I'm not much of a quick learner anyways"
However, will it have the same effect on a busy, hard working adult? Let's assume he crawls to work, crawls to bed, crawls to the nearest bar for a good pint or two, crawls to the gym.. And so forth; being the average Joe.. Would he smile innocently and say "Oooh sounds like fun! I should try it so I can walk like mommy and daddy!"?
The answer is "Probably no."
What if all his friends are crawlers? Surely the answer would be a negative one, stating that all his friends are the same, why should he be any different? Even if he would know that it's beneficial, he would nod and say "Egh.. All my friends crawl anyways, I'll just stick to what I have."
Mind you, it is more than OK to have your own decisions, but what if this "Average Joe" guy actually wanted to be more than a crawler and become a walker instead? (No references to the Walking Dead here)
"Average Joe" clearly built a wall upon taking the Crawling Vs. Walking decision and decided it's best to limit himself and his capabilities.. Simply because he's shy of being more than what he can be.
On the other hand, the naive and innocent child quickly accepted learning how to walk, forgetting completely what others might think and forgetting how many times it might fail before reaching its goal. With that huge happy feel inside it, it quickly started a new routine:
Attempt
Fall
Try again
But don't youngsters usually cry when they fail?
Most certain.
And this is why it's the parents' duty to teach it to create its own character. Teaching it that it's good when you start out a new experience! Teaching it that the body knows no limits! Letting it know from a very early age that there is NO wall that cannot be taken down with a good blow. (Letting them take over and being spoiled is a different thing, caution over them should be taken until they're capable of fending off for themselves)

This is why every challenge must be taken in a relaxing way, know that there is time for it and that it can and WILL be handled.
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
No limits!
Look at everything around you. The place you live in, the desk you might use for any kind of work, the speakers or headphones you plug in to listen to music, the electrical current flowing constantly through, etc etc.. If man built a "limit wall" inside his head, limiting himself, would he have done all this to see the world advance through technology and everything else? Two millennia ago, the Greeks discovered that when you rub two opposite charges together, an attraction is caused between the two. By time, mankind has learned how to use this charge and discovered by time that you can use this charge to create light! Then came in the famous Nikola Tesla who found a way to transmit electricity; would he have done it if he built a "limit wall" inside his head? Surely he did not know where electricity will end up and look where it is now!
Taking that wall down.. For good!
The first step to taking that wall down is to simply look around you.
Ask yourself:
Ask yourself:
"What am I thankful for?"
"What manages to get me up from bed and get me moving everyday?"
"What makes me smile?"
Calm yourself down, relax and open your mind to all the positive things around you. Think of anything at all that makes you feel thankful, keep on thinking until you start feeling better again, until you start feeling so thankful, that everything around you feels like it's treasure, as if you just bought everything and that everything is brand new again!
Once you feel replenished and able to move forth in your life, think of your biggest passions, what you would truly love to have, what you would truly love to become one day, what you would truly want to feel about yourself!
Once you're done with it, follow these three simple steps:
~ Imagine it
Once you're done with it, follow these three simple steps:
~ Imagine it
Imagine having what you truly desire at this moment. Are you feeling down? Then Imagine yourself being cheery and fun! Laughing with your friends, family, bonding with one another! Watching a great movie, reading a good book, whatever it is that you love doing!
~ Feel it
Feel as if you're in that particular moment right now! Make the face expressions you'd usually do when you're doing what you love doing the most!
~ Believe it
Now, you're thankful of what you have, you're imagining having your desires come true, you can feel them coming towards you! All you need to do now is believe that they CAN and WILL happen once you knock that wall down for good. Believe that your desires are capable of coming true! Believe that you can be as happy as everyone else! Believe that you can stay as happy as everyone else!
Happiness is one of a human being's natural habitat, we are most comfortable in a positive state, just like a lion is most comfortable in the jungle, just like a parrot is most comfortable up in a tree or flying with other parrots such as itself, just like a zombie is most comfortable eating the life out of its victim's brain!
Please do remember this:
Please do remember this:
"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful"
Now it's time to practice what you have learned from all of this! Take all the time you need to read what I've said more than once (No need to read the whole thing, just the parts where you need help) and show everyone how happy and passionate YOU can be!
